Aardvark South Hunsley School Pro 1.2.1 Moodle Theme

I have reworked the popular Aardvark Moodle Theme for the school I was working at, for their Moodle 1.9 install. I have made two variants of this theme, one for the main school and one for the Sixth Form College. There are both essentially the same theme with a few changes to the CSS and a couple of different images.

Open Source Schools – National Leadership Conference

On Tuesday 5th April Open Source Schools are hosting a National Leadership Conference to showcase to school leaders the benefits that Open Source Software can have in their schools.

My First WordPress Theme

A colleague of mine has asked me to work with him redesigning his WordPress blog so I thought it was  about time I tried my first WordPress theme.

As a starting point I thought I would use the CSS from this site and see if I could get WordPress to feel completely integrated into the style of https://www.jonwitts.co.uk . I think I have meet that aim without any issues, however in doing this first theme I have begun to realise quite how powerful a theme engine WordPress really has! Installing IIS, PHP and MySQL on a Windows XP Professional

 

Install IIS

  1. Insert your Windows XP Professional CD into your computer. When it auto runs, choose “Install optional Windows components”
  2. In the window that opens, scroll down the list until you find “Internet Information Services (IIS)” and tick the box next to it.
  3. Click “Next” then wait whilst Windows installs IIS.
